The October event at Hampton Cove was a tourney within a tourney. There was a lot of tension and knees knocking when it came to the Pumpkin Ball portion of the tourney. No one wanted to be the person who lost the Pumpkin Ball, and some protected it much better than others. The overall league championship was also determined in a head-to-head competition of the league winners.
Gary Hodge won the overall League Championship, edging out Mike Gant, Wayne Strickland and Paul Williams.
Rick Rush, George Landingham, Bob Obergfell and Greg Gaylord won the Flight A Shambles with a 191. John Smolka, Lance Craver, Lowell Huneycutt and Ronald Kinley won the Flight B Shambles with a 209.
Larry Russell, Terence Kelly, Dave Hall and Allen Miller won the Pumpkin Ball with a 69.
